I am Pilgrim - Terry Hayes with over 900 pages, that should keep me quiet for a while.  A mystery thriller. Oooh yes.  After reading Lisa's list, I see I am behind the times as this book was released 10 years ago. Cannot wait!

If I can tear my husband away from RNZ National, I will play my Spotify playlists of music from the 70's 80's and 90's.  Plus throw in some rock ACDC, Guns N Roses and Rolling Stones.  So good!

"Atomic Habits" was given to my recently.  Author, James Clear, reckons you don't need to think big to improve your life.  Just make lots of very small compound improvements.  Like do two press ups today, three tomorrow.  Or wake up 5-minutes earlier this week, then 5 earlier again next week.

I like both types of music.... country & western.  "Beer never broke my heart" by Luke Combs is my go to at the mo.

My summer playlist doesnt change much from year to year.  Filled with lots of NZ musicians:  Teeks, The Blackseeds, L.A.B, Six60, Shapeshifter, Ladi 6, Niko Walters, Drax Project, Muroki, Kora & Fat Freddies Drop... To name a few..

I have been waiting a long time for this but 'The year of the locust' is finally here. The author is Terry Hayes and this follows his book 'I am Pilgrim' released about 9-10 years ago.

I'm also very keen to start the 'seven sisters' series by Lucinda Riley, but I have heard this is a huge time commitment.  (8 books)

Whichever radio station our neighbours decide to inflict on us will be the music I will be listening to.

Adele's albums (19, 21, 25 & 30) - she's my travel go-to and will be downloaded on my phone ready for the long flights ahead.

Brene Brown: Daring Greatly - How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead. I found this for $2 in a bookarama earlier this year and have been saving it up for our India holiday - cannot wait!

My summertime reads include: The World's Your Lobster - a book of columns by Joe Bennett - very funny man. The Beastie Boys book by Mike D and Ad-Rock The Grapes of Wrath - John Steinbeck. A classic I need to tick off.

And I’ll be listening to: I Swear... - Andre 3000 (He no longer raps, he plays the flute instead!). In Bloom - Sturgill Simpson (Nirvana cover). Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel (Great sing-along song).

Anything & everything Taylor Swift is my summertime playlist! I gotta keep up that top 0.3% Taylor Swift listener on Spotify. Also, a bit of music from COTERIE as I will be seeing them live over the summer.

You will find me reading Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg. A book with advice on how women in the twenty-first century can create the lives we want and to be champions of other women. Sounds like an interesting read.
