I specialise in comprehensive financial advice for clients with complex needs where they are approaching a turning point in their lives such as retiring off the farm or selling a business.

I have a Bachelor of Commerce from Auckland University and was a Charles Upham Scholar at Canterbury University.  I am a Certified Financial Planner, Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst and a Financial Adviser (FSP46741).

My interests include landscaping our steep Vauxhall, Dunedin section with native plants to encourage native birds. I bike to work, love cooking and am a keen collector of wine. I have four children spread around the world and am married to Amanda Shanley, a ceramic artist.
